Canberra! How awesome you are.

PHEW!!! 

     Handmade Market was fabulous as usual, thank you to my lovely customers for choosing something bold to take home - you all make me so proud to be Canberran!! I had a great little spot, and it was so lovely to be visited by some incredible regular customers and new fans, most surprised to see so much colour here in Canberra!

A few of my favourite, but last minute, additions came home with me from the market, so these are still available to buy. Make sure you check out the 'Furniture Gallery' tab at the top of the blog to check out what is currently for sale...

Since the market, I've made a start on loads of lovely custom orders which will keep me busy for the rest of the month. Here are the first ones completed so far: an adorable nursery chair in Dove Grey 'Love' print, and a pair of huge bed side lamps in teal 'Fanpods'...

Thank you thank you thank you

It needs to be said, because I rarely vocalise these sentiments, I owe a massive  

thank you   to my clients and customers for choosing to be brave and outrageously courageous in their choices. It really does make me feel humbled and so happy to be adding something unique, colourful and interesting into your homes.

So, what's next? This baby is available to be done in your fabric of choice. It converts to a single bed in the most amazing way. See it to believe it - inspections are most welcome!

Handmade Market in only 4 days!

My 10 DIYs of Summer has had to wait! I've been madly working on some incredible new pieces for a DOUBLE Handmade Market. To make up for my absence at the Christmas Handmade. That's right, I'll be doing BOTH days of Canberra's Handmade Market this long weekend, so don't miss it!

Frocktober 24: Stripes converge

It's the dress it up or dress it down converging stripes dress I made last year to wear to a wedding. It's a bold graphic statement, and is looking good with my T&J fabrics on the freshly upholstered lounge chairs in the background! 

And guess what? These chairs are available to buy now - and they are gorgeous. Make a time with me to come and see them if you are interested. xxx

Frocktober 1: Handmade Market

The beginning of my Frocktober Challenge this year sees me at another huge Handmade Market selling my wares to an appreciative crowd. Today I needed a utility dress and flat shoes for lugging big chairs around - not to mention that it was also rather chilly! So here I am in a simple long black dress, with my little warm jacket and a few pops of colour, surrounded by my handmade and re-loved goodies!

 Please pardon my surly expression, this was taken right after setting up and before my lovely customers arrived... and I was already exhausted! Luckily coffee always does me wonders and I perked up just in time! Ha ha.
